The road to Lake Riley.

One of my favorite holiday childhood memories was when our family made the drive from Olympia to Arlington, for the Normanna Kids Christmas Party at Lake Riley. My dad’s family has been members of the Sons of Norway for many years. I remember playing with my cousins, eating Lefse, decorate ornaments, riding the trolley, and getting a gift from Santa. I want to teach my kids about their Norwegian heritage too, last weekend we took our girls and they had a wonderful time, they were asking to go back to Riley the next day. It was the perfect start to the holiday season, we even had a dusting of snow, beautiful.❤️
