We’ve been remodeling our home and creating our little farm since we moved here in 2007, it’s home to our family of 6, plus our furry family members: 4 dogs, a barn cat, chickens and the goat herd. We often see wildlife living nearby like owls, hawks, coyotes, deer and elk.
We’re a bit over an hour south of Seattle and under 2 hours if driving from Portland, Oregon, located near the Mima Mounds Prairie and Capitol Forest in Littlerock, Washington. Littlerock about 15 minutes from Tumwater, Olympia & Rochester. We have 12 acres, half prairie and the other half wooded, we love having the open sky being right by the prairie and our view of Mt. Rainier and even Mt. Saint Helens when the sky is clear.
